So I written two or three reviews ready to put up on this site when I came across a stumbling block. The Internet in our new flat is being delayed by about two weeks. So it’s a case of so much to blog so little broadband access.

So for the first time ever I regret not purchasing an iPad that is 3G capable. Everyone knows Apple’s pricing schemes for the iPad and if you want one that is 3G capable you have to fork over an extra £100 odd before you even start paying an operator 3G charges. When I bought my iPad last year I decided to spend my money on maximum memory as opposed to 3G capable.

So far this has been a great choice despite repeated attempts on my part I still haven’t filled the memory for my iPad. However now I am out of university and out of my old flat I’m in a pickle. One of the reasons my iPad was so great at university was the whole campus was wifi enabled as was my previous flat.

Now I am in a new city relying on public free wifi. I wish was able to be at home uploading this and not in a busy shopping centre but needs must. However despite my complaining in all likelihood I’ll never purchase a 3G iPad. My internet situation at home should last no more than another week and a half. It’s an added expense to an expensive product and well at least this way I’m getting out of the house. 3G is a convenience if you can afford it, I can’t at this moment. But at least I can afford a fruit smooth is in the shopping centre while I upload this.

Sooo, I’ve not been here since March. Whoops. Second time I’ve had a long unexplained absence. Not good but unfortunately not avoidable.

So it turns out the final three months at university is very demanding and I had a lot of work to complete. Which as it turns out does not leave much time in the day for any semblance of a life let alone a blog.

I have found that life has a magical way of getting in the way of blogging. Especially my busy life it would appear. A quick flick through of my calendar these past few months also reveals a wedding, a major family birthday and my boyfriend’s new job which is requiring us to move 200 miles across country.

However I am now out of university, the move takes place Monday and everything is already packed. So all that is there to fill my days is reviewing everything I meant too as I used it over the past few months and finding a job.

Anyone know if Apple is hiring future product testers? I did score a 2.1 in my degree.

So it’s official iPad 2 is here. There were a few expected changes and a few surprises but there still seems to be the sense that for once, Apple could have delivered more.
